Please note that you are agreeing to the following requirements when you book a private function at the Westralian:

As a resident, it is your responsibility to remind your guests that The Westralian is a private luxury building and that the facilities provided are primarily for the use of residents.
You and your invited guests are to be considerate of the right of all residents to a peaceful and harmonious living environment.
Guests are to remain within the limits of the booked function area and must not wander around the building.
Where possible, the main doors of the function room are to be shut at all times, to contain loud music and noise.
The function must close at:

10.00 pm for events in the Function Room, Board Room or Theatrette (unless special arrangements have been made at least 14 days in advance, for the closing time to be up to midnight)
10.00 pm for events in the Pool Lounge/BBQ area (unless special arrangements have been made at least 14 days in advance, for the closing time to be up to 11pm)

It is advisable to begin winding up the event at least 45 minutes prior to closing time, to allow for clean-up and Concierge/Security lock-up.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in or around the building.
The function area must be left clean and tidy after use. Residents will be billed for clean-up services should the cleaning not be done to the usual standard. If you do not wish to do the cleaning yourself, our “in house” contract cleaners may be available for hire. Please speak with Building Manager if you wish to make arrangements for a contract clean-up service.
Note: As this service is not available over the weekend, you will need to be responsible for your own cleaning if your function is on the weekend, as others may be using the facility after you.
Please wash all glasses, dishes and cutlery after use. If you use the dishwasher, please unpack it and put the dishes and cutlery away in the cupboards.
